Bonneville Salt Flats, UT - Fall 2023

I mean, who doesn't want to see this in real life? Easily accessible from I-80, the Bonneville Salt Flats covers an impressive 30,000 acres along the Utah-Nevada border. In the last 10,000 years or so, the lake that was once here slowly dried up, leaving only salt deposits and a plethora of microenvironments.

If it's up to me, we'll be spending more than a day or two in the Salt Lake City area and this definitely a camping destination!
